David Ascher is the Founder and Managing Partner of Transom Consulting and oversees the Firm’s consulting services to market leaders in financial services, private equity, consumer goods, professional services, technology, media, and telecom. David leads the Firm’s Financial Services practice with a focus on strategic, transactional, and operational advisory for specialty finance platforms, banks and credit unions, private equity firms, insurance carriers and distributors, credit card issuers, payments providers, and financial technology companies. David also co-leads Transom’s M&A practice, a broker-dealer-affiliated investment bank with both buy-side and sell-side mandates. He previously co-founded Transom Capital Group, a middle market private equity firm, and was a senior consultant at McKinsey & Company. David has a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Public & International Affairs from Princeton University, and is Series 63 and 79 licensed.

Felix Recht is a Partner at Transom Consulting and co-leads Transom’s M&A practice. He has experience in operations, strategy, turnarounds, and both buy-side and sell-side engagements. Felix advises clients (from startups to the Fortune 50) in financial services, consumer goods, technology, media, and telecom. Previously, Felix worked as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company and a manager at Transphorm, a power electronics startup company backed by Google Ventures. Felix earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from RWTH Aachen University. He is Series 63 and 79 licensed.

Seth Egorin
Seth Egorin is a Partner at Transom Consulting. Seth leads Transom’s Consumer and Technology practices, leveraging his expertise in strategy, marketing, digital, omni-channel, category and merchandising management, operational efficiency, and growth transformation. Prior to Transom, Seth was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co., where he worked with consumer-facing clients across marketing and growth topics and co-led the direct-to-consumer / e-commerce offering. Seth also previously spent almost 10 years as a strategy and marketing leader in various startups, including as a successful consumer tech co-founder. Seth earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in Finance and Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond.

Abhigna Mandavilli is an Associate Partner at Transom Consulting. He specializes in commercial due diligences and strategic planning engagement and has worked extensively across the financial services, business services, real estate, travel, and consumer goods industries. Abhigna graduated with the highest GPA from his M.B.A. program at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, where he was also a portfolio manager for his school’s Student Investment Fund. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras.

Linda Cohen is a Senior Advisor and former Partner of Transom Consulting Group. Linda serves on the Compensation Committee and leads the Women’s Initiative. She also co-founded and served as Partner at Transom’s M&A practice, a broker-dealer-affiliated investment bank with both buy-side and sell-side mandates. Linda also currently serves on the board of Children’s Music Fund and on a civic investment review board. Linda previously founded GlobalVision Consulting Services, a management consulting firm, and was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Linda has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois. Linda completed FINRA Series 63 and 79.

Eric Martin

Eric Martin is a Senior Advisor at Transom Consulting, where he specializes in enterprise growth through innovation and organizational transformation. Eric is also the director of the Galant Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Virginia. He has designed and delivered executive leadership programs at leading global corporations. Eric has operating experience as an entrepreneur, CEO, global consultancy partner, and change agent. He has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from UNC Chapel Hill.

David Nuechterlein
David Nuechterlein is a Senior Advisor to Transom on commercial excellence and revenue management. David was a co-founder of MFL, a commercial excellence consultancy, and was previously a management consultant at McKinsey & Co., where he served both industrial and consumer clients in the areas of strategy and operations effectiveness. David was the President of ENPAC, Inc. a plastic molding subsidiary of Essef Corp., and head of Corporate Planning and Development for GenCorp, Inc. a diversified, technology-based company. He served as Director Product Planning and Marketing with Technicare, a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary, where he was heavily involved in the commercialization of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. He also served as a Director of Metallurgical Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ) and Dunn Paper. Mr. Nuechterlein holds a Bachelor of Science, Chemistry from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
Elliot Ross
Elliot Ross is a Senior Advisor to Transom on commercial excellence and revenue management. He was previously head of McKinsey & Co.’s worldwide marketing practice and served as its thought leader in proactive pricing management. Elliot subsequently co-founded The MFL Group, a consultancy focused on strengthening clients’ capabilities in pricing, segmentation, organization, process, and overall strategy. He currently serves on the board of both public and private companies. Elliot was President and a Director of State Industrial Products, a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemical and hardware products, and Chief Operating Officer at Essef Corporation (NASDAQ). He founded Inverness Partners and grew Inverness Castings Group into a leading $70 Million tier I automotive supplier. Elliot serves on the Advisory Boards of the Ohio State University College of Engineering and the Department of Materials Science and is a member of the Visiting Committee of The CWRU Weatherhead School of Management. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science (Engineering) from The Ohio State and an M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.

Evan Schlessinger is a Senior Advisor at Transom Consulting, where he specializes in innovation, consumer insights, strategy, and marketing and distribution initiatives for consumer goods and financial services clients. Evan has an extensive consumer goods background, including leading new product efforts at Crystal Light Diet Soft Drink, Entenmann’s Cakes, Oroweat Breads, Boboli Pizza Shells, and Bumble Bee Foods. Previously, Evan served as a Senior V.P. of Marketing for Safeway Inc., where he led the launch of the gift card retailing program that became Blackhawk Networks, and since 2003 he has managed a new product / innovation consulting firm. He holds an M.B.A. from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania).

Previously, Kathy was a researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she developed customized machine learning methods for a variety of applications (e.g., optimizing strategies for early disease detection in a healthcare system to improve clinical outcomes and reduce costs). Kathy received a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and a B.S. in Computational & Systems Biology from UCLA.

Cameron McCully is an Engagement Manager at Transom Consulting and focuses on the firm’s Program Management Office capabilities. Prior to Transom, Cameron was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co. for the Implementation and Service Operations practices, where he worked with firms on transformations, performance management, and operational process redesigns. Cameron has worked with clients across industries including banking, financial services, business services, consumer goods and utilities. He received in MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his BS in Applied Economics from Cornell University.
Remona Moodley
Remona Moodley is the Head of Talent at Transom Consulting. She leads the firm in the development and execution of its strategic talent development and executive coaching programs. Prior to joining Transom, Remona was Senior Partner Learning Manager at McKinsey & Co., where she designed and led learning programs for hundreds of Senior Partners and Partners. Remona was also an Engagement Manager in McKinsey’s San Francisco office and previously a Business Analyst in McKinsey’s Johannesburg office. She is a Certified Agile Scrum Master, founder of Fund-A-Dream Foundation, and former South African Brand Ambassador at Davos. She received her M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
Kelsey Pegden
Kelsey Pegden is a Private Equity Engagement Manager at Transom Consulting, where he specializes in corporate due diligences across the consumer goods & retail, financial services, and business services industries. Prior to Transom, Kelsey was a Manager in Bain & Company’s Private Equity practice, where he led more than 15 diligences across the technology, industrials, and healthcare sectors. Prior to Bain, Kelsey was a Managing Consultant at IBM Global Business Services for nine years. Kelsey holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College, where he dual majored in Mechanical Engineering and International Studies.
Palmer Holcomb
Palmer Holcomb is an Associate at Transom focused on M&A advisory and strategy. He has extensive experience servicing investment firm clients and strategics across the deal life cycle, ranging from pre-deal due diligence and value analysis to integration and separation management. Palmer was previously an M&A consultant at Deloitte Consulting. He received his BS in Business Administration from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business.
